| La tendresse que j’ai pour Charlot m’a donné envie de lui rendre hommage. Cette guitare est dans l’esprit des instruments américains du début du siècle. Tous les dessins s’inspirent de son œuvre cinématographique. Les incrustations ont été réalisées en nacre blanche et grise, argent, ivoire, bois teinté, ébène. La couleur faite à base de teinte noire rappelle les premières photos "sépia". Merci à la famille de Charlie Chaplin pour son autorisation. |

The tenderness I feel for Charles Chaplin decided me to pay a tribute to him. This one is in the idea of the early 20th century American guitars. All the drawings are inspired by his film works. The inlays are of white and tahitian mother of pearl, silver, ivory, dyed wood, ebony. The general colour, obtained with black tinting, reminds the old "sepia" pictures. I thank Charlie Chaplin’s family for their permission. |
